HUM Call for Submissions
HUM is accepting submissions through August 22. HUM (Hear Utah Music) is a digital space celebrating Utah’s local music community. Albums and EPs by Utah musicians will be juried by a committee of local music experts, and selected works will be added to the HUM collection. Musicians whose works are selected will be given a licensing fee for sharing their music through HUM, and listeners will gain access to the best of Utah music through this new digital platform.

Classics Under the Stars
Celebrate the Chapman Branch's Centennial Summer with free popcorn and outdoor screenings of classic films. Bring your own comfy chair and a refreshing beverage, wear a retro outfit, and don't forget the bug spray! All films start at 8:30pm in the back parking lot of the Chapman Branch. Screenings will move indoors in case of rain.

CALL FOR ENTRIES
Exhibits are chosen by a staff committee according to the needs and interests of the community, the variety of shows, the artistic quality of the works, and the suitability of format for each library's physical space. Submissions are accepted twice annually: during the two-week periods prior to April 10 and October 10.

Teen artists and art instructors, submit your or your student's portfolio to be featured at The City Library! We are always on the lookout for original art exhibitions for the Main Library's Canteena Space on Level 2, and welcome submissions year-round.
