The Salt Lake City Library hosts art exibits throughout the year. We also lists citywide exhibits here and in our events calendar. If you are a local artist, click on "Call for Entries" to get involved.
Exhibits are chosen by a staff committee according to the needs and interests of the community, the variety of shows, the artistic quality of the works, and the suitability of format for each library's physical space. Submissions are accepted twice annually: during the two-week periods prior to April 10 and October 10.
Teen artists and art instructors, submit your or your student's portfolio to be featured at The City Library! We are always on the lookout for original art exhibitions for the Main Library's Canteena Space on Level 2, and welcome submissions year-round.
Each year, The City Library's Performance Art Festival invites the Salt Lake City community to experience world-class performance art, live and in person, featuring works from respected local and international artists. Curator Kristina Lenzi assembles a varied group of performances, suitable for all ages and interests. If you are interested in performing, please submit a proposal by May 31, 2018.
