This new conversation series puts politics and policy aside to further community discussions about immigration topics, and how Utahns welcome people to the neighborhood. The U.S. is home to nearly 34 million lawful immigrants and another 11 million people who are undocumented.* Local Conversations offers the opportunity to meet and understand the needs and contributions of these new Americans among us, through film, presentations, and panel discussions moderated by Lara Jones of KRCL RadioActiveKRCL RadioActive.

Presented by The University of Utah College of Social Work, in partnership with The City Library Marmalade Branch and 90.9fm KRCL.
