There may be as many as six ballot initiatives when Utah voters go to the polls this November. The City Library Marmalade Branch and KRCL RadioActive present this town hall discussion series covering potential Utah ballot initiatives. Panel discussions and Q & A sessions will help you make informed decisions when you vote by explaining the issues behind these ballot initiatives, and the pros and cons of each. Ballot Talks take place the 2nd Monday of each month.

Mon, May 14 · Income and Sales Tax Increase for Public Education, to increase the state income tax and invest the increase in educational performance improvement.
Mon, Jun 11 ·  Direct Primary Elections vs. Party Nominations Initiatives, dueling ballot initiatives on the way voters elect their representatives.
Mon, Jul 9 ·  Medicaid Expansion, to secure Medicaid and CHIP coverage for tens of thousands of Utahns.
