    Fill out this form if you want to table at the The City Library's 10th annual Alt Press Fest! The fest celebrate zines, all forms of alternative press, and the awesome people who create it in Salt Lake City. The Call for Entries form will be open through Thursday, July 26.

    Yoga Flow combines music and yoga for a unique class designed for all experience levels. Led by certified teacher Sarah Kelly, this class centers on breath awareness, as well as promoting a sense of calm meditative focus as you move through various yoga poses.

  • Sprague Branch Express Service Available Now

    The City Library’s Sprague Branch has reopened with limited service. The main level of the building is open with "express services," including holds pick-up, a small collection of materials, a handful of public access computers with shortened time limits, and free public WiFi Internet access.

  • One-Day Used Book Sale Sat, Aug 11 · 9am–6pm

    Everyone is invited to shop the Summer Used Book Sale. This event will feature movies, mysteries, cookbooks, and more, all available at bargain prices.

  • The Sound of Silents Main Library Auditorium

    3 matinee movies coming this summer, one Saturday a month. Local composers create their own soundtracks to classic silent films like, "The General" and "A Trip to the Moon."

  • Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday

    On the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, watch the most popular movies from the Library's collection on the big screen. No need to wait on the hold list to see these hits!

  • Showcase your smarts against other trivia geeks

    The second Friday of each month, take part in The Leonardo's Trivia night and see how much you know about current events, science, pop culture, history, and more.

CALL FOR ENTRIES

Exhibits are chosen by a staff committee according to the needs and interests of the community, the variety of shows, the artistic quality of the works, and the suitability of format for each library's physical space. Submissions are accepted twice annually: during the two-week periods prior to April 10 and October 10.



TEEN ART EXHIBIT CALL FOR ENTRIES

Teen artists and art instructors, submit your or your student's portfolio to be featured at The City Library! We are always on the lookout for original art exhibitions for the Main Library's Canteena Space on Level 2, and welcome submissions year-round.
