The Glendale neighborhood is one of the most diverse communities in Salt Lake City and includes a high percentage of residents that are under age 18. The Glendale Branch serves the needs of this diverse neighborhood and provides a versatile public space to gather and hold meetings.
The branch features nearly 20,000 square feet of space, making it the largest City Library branch, and offers 40,000 items for circulation. The branch also includes a large meeting facility, a designated teen space, and a floor plan that offers open views across the building.
The Glendale Branch is easily accessible for area students—it is located just one block from Glendale Middle School, Mountain View Elementary School, and the Salt Lake City School District's Community Learning Center.
The LEED Certified Gold Glendale Branch celebrates the Glendale neighborhood's history and diversity while offering services to accommodate this changing community's needs.
